Breaking news is an incredibly important phrase to know when you’re watching the news. Breaking news refers to a story that happened in the last hour and is so important that it’s referred to as “breaking news.” While it’s true that the term is not used in all circumstances, it’s commonly used to refer to the most important story of the moment. The term is also used to describe a story that is of wide interest to the public, and is often used after a news organization has covered the story. Despite the name, this term is also used to refer to breaking news after an organization has already reported it.
Breaking news may disrupt existing programming, as well as new ones, but can also interrupt popular shows that are currently airing.
