The American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) has signed a letter in support of a joint letter urging Congress to include emergency medicine in the 2020-2021 Residency Guidelines for primary care physicians. Additionally, AAEM has announced a new board for the 2020-2021 term.
The AAEM has also signed a letter in support of a congressional resolution that calls for a federally funded research study on the cost of emergency care. It also opposes Louisiana HB 495.
