While traditional television news has long lived on the airwaves and cable, streaming news is transforming the television viewing experience. Streaming news arrives on demand and goes wherever you go. This new technology allows you to personalize your experience and reduces the scarcity factor in media consumption. It also offers more variety and reaches more viewers.

Streaming services make building a news library more affordable and convenient. They also make video news accessible and timely. With the addition of live news, current news is now accessible on any device. Streaming has made it possible for people to view live and archived news from all over the world. It also makes current news available anywhere and at anytime.

Despite the challenges, streaming news is a promising option for major broadcast networks. In fact, some major broadcast networks have already invested in streaming operations. Fox, for example, has a subscription-based service called Fox Nation that has gathered 1.5 million subscribers. The NBC News Now streaming app boasts that it produces more than 30 hours of content a month.
