The White House announced it will be sending a full battalion of American-made tanks to join the fight in Ukraine giving Germany the military and political cover it was seeking to send its own tanks across Europe to the region. The president, former president and former vice president have now all found classified documents where they shouldn’t be but for Donald Trump this is a political boon.

In the early 2000s, a new approach to fundraising campaigns was taking off. One of the strategies being used was called “free news streaming.” The idea is to tell viewers that they don’t have to pay for cable, and that the quality of news they can get from the internet is just as good.
News networks realized that they had an edge over cable in the audience that would stream their programming. They invested hundreds of millions of dollars in streaming operations.
Streaming allows for timely delivery of news, and it eliminates the scarcity factor. It has also proven to be attractive to a wide range of audiences.
Fox, for example, has gained 1.5 million subscribers to its Fox Nation streaming app. The app has proven to be a viable business model.
CBS News, meanwhile, has aggressively nichified its local news coverage. A recent report reveals that in 2022, the network plans to beam 45,000 hours of local news to its streaming channels.
ABC and CNN have also entered the news streaming business. These new players are reminiscent of the cable model. Cable has traditionally been a profitable business.
Streaming also offers a low barrier to entry for new players. This encourages a variety of players to enter the market. As a result, online video streaming is likely to attract new, overtly political news operations.
Unlike traditional television, however, streaming news is universal. Viewers can stream from anywhere in the country, and they can customize their experience to meet their needs.
