The commencement exercises at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville will continue on Saturday, May 6 and 7. Provost Denise Cobb will lead the ceremony and confer degrees on a total of 2,356 eligible graduates. The graduation ceremonies will honor students in the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Science and Engineering. CAS graduate Josie Pauley spoke to her peers about her college experience. Pauley, who earned a bachelor’s degree in applied communication studies, encouraged graduates to live in the moment and to enjoy their accomplishments.
