The Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine recently held its 20th White Coat Ceremony to honor outstanding students. The ceremony was attended by more than two thousand students from nearly two dozen departments. The ceremony honored the first cohort of 50 dental students and six IAPP graduates. The ceremony was conducted in the First Community Arena of the Vadalabene Center. Chancellor James T. Minor addressed the audience. The ceremony also featured award recipients who will receive a $100 honorarium and honorary plaque.
