On May 6, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville continues its commencement ceremonies to celebrate the first cohort of its College of Arts and Sciences and School of Engineering graduates. Chancellor James T. Minor will lead seven commencement ceremonies to honor the 2,356 graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences. One of the graduates, Josie Pauley, who earned a bachelor’s degree in applied communication studies, spoke to CAS graduates. She encouraged them to live in the moment and make the most of every opportunity.
