The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville will continue its commencement exercises this weekend, recognizing graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and School of Engineering (SIUE). Provost Denise Cobb will lead the ceremonies, and Josie Pauley, who earned a bachelor’s in applied communication studies, will address the CAS graduates. She advised graduates to take advantage of the moment and live in the moment. The event will mark the start of the school’s commencement exercises, and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville will continue the series of ceremonies on May 7 and 8 at the Vadalabene Center’s First Community Arena.
