The best sources of current news include newspapers and magazines, social media, in-person conversations, and TV broadcasts. However, in order to determine the best sources of information, it’s important to know what constitutes a good source.

A good source of current news includes the best of all worlds. A great source is a digital magazine or newspaper that combines all of the content you want with a subscription option. Readly is a digital newspaper with 6300 titles and all-you-can-read access.

Another great source is news releases from the California Department of Education. These are sent to reporters to write about in local news outlets. Some reports claim that as many as 45 percent of respondents couldn’t believe certain stories in the media.

For some, a good source of current news includes a virtual reality experience. For instance, the University of Washington’s Virtual Reality Center offers the chance to walk through an interactive, 360-degree experience.

For others, a source of current news is the small, but significant, things that matter to you. For example, the Sammamish City Council has been in the midst of budgeting for the next two years. It has begun negotiations with candidate Scott Ma. Also, it has proclaimed January 16, 2023 as a National Day of Service in Sammamish.

Lastly, the American College Personnel Association recognizes the best practices in higher education, notably in its Higher Education Excellence in Diversity award. This honor recognizes colleges and universities for their commitment to student affairs and the development of their students.
