About Current News

Whether it’s the latest sports results, political scandal, or economic crisis, Trending is where you will find articles that are currently influencing public opinion and debate. Current events are often reflected in polling data, showing shifts in support or disapproval for certain policies or leaders based on new developments. The media can also play a significant role in how these events are perceived, through framing and selective coverage that influences audience perceptions.

The popular Australian TV show A Current Affair is a prime example of this. Its recurring stories include hoons, dodgy tradies, and neighbours from hell.
