Continuing commencement exercises, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, continued Saturday with ceremonies honoring the graduates of the School of Engineering and College of Arts and Sciences. Provost Denise Cobb presided over the commencement ceremony and conferred degrees. CAS graduate Josie Pauley, who earned a bachelor’s degree in applied communication studies, delivered a graduation speech to the graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences. She encouraged graduates to live in the moment and enjoy the moment, saying “everyday is an opportunity.”
