Six people were found dead inside a cargo train boxcar at a Union Pacific rail yard near the Mexico border in Laredo, Texas, police said.
Breaking News is a news segment that interrupts current non-news programming and/or regular network newscasts (before 24-hour news channels existed, such interruptions were restricted to extremely urgent events such as the assassination of President John F. Kennedy). Often the breaking news report is followed by an anchor who welcomes viewers back to the station and introduces the story at hand, although not always. In some cases, breaking news coverage may last for hours or even days. During such periods, the broadcaster will use a special graphic and distinctive music cue that overlaid over station imaging and lower thirds to convey urgency.
