Trending is a feature that highlights stories and news from all over the world that are currently getting the most attention on social media. The feature is available on the iOS version of Current News and can be found in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Breaking news is a television or radio news story that warrants an immediate interruption of non-news programming, or, in the case of network affiliates, a cut-in during regular programing. Breaking news usually begins with a countdown sequence and a special graphic (often a different color than normal) indicating that the network will be interrupting its regular programming for this breaking story.
