Nearly 15 years ago, Hannah Lawson found out she had a brain tumor and was checked in to East Tennessee Children’s hospital. Through her recovery, she found that helping other kids with cancer was her calling. Now, Hannah recently graduated with a nursing degree and will be returning to work at the very hospital that helped save her life. NBC News’ Kathy Park shares her story.

With it, you’ll know what’s happening in your neighborhood and how it affects your daily life.
Another source of local news is the local newspaper. Several news outlets publish daily newspapers and weekly magazines. Some of them even provide information on current events that affect the world. Another source is the BBC, the world’s most trusted news service. It sells nearly half of its publications in the U.S.
