Streaming news is catching on as a mainstream phenomenon. As more people discover the advantages of streaming news, cable TV’s dominant position in news coverage may be challenged. Streaming news is fast, efficient and customized, and it is available wherever the viewer goes.
In addition to breaking news, streaming news includes reruns, documentaries and news analysis. It is a relatively new industry, but the major news networks have spent hundreds of millions of dollars in their streaming operations.
