The Justice Department has opened an inquiry into whether the National Football League violated anticompetitive practices in its TV deals and then required customers to pay too much in subscription costs, according to three sources familiar with the probe.
The Sports Broadcasting Act of 1961 gives some limited protections for the NFL which allows for sports leagues to pool broadcast rights.

Trending is a section of Current News that talks about the latest trends in news, fashion, lifestyle and entertainment. It also covers a variety of other topics that are affecting the world around us.
Breaking news is a news event that is so important that it demands an immediate interruption of the normal programming on a television or radio station, or in a network’s national or local newscast. This type of breaking news may also be known as a newsflash, special report or a ticker (also called a special bulletin or a special announcement). Prior to the advent of 24-hour news networks, these breaks were generally reserved for extremely urgent events that required nationwide coverage and would have been difficult for a single station to interrupt.
