Florida launches criminal investigation into ChatGPT over school shooting

The Florida attorney general has launched a criminal investigation into ChatGPT over allegations that it helped the suspect in the Florida State University shooting with logistics of the crime. In a statement OpenAI said that ChatGPT “provided factual responses to questions with information that could be found broadly across the internet, and did not encourage or promote illegal or harmful activity.”
