Bush explained his decision to set up a commission to investigate the intelligence failures in the Iraq War, saying it’s “just a part of analyzing where we are on the war against terror.” Bush continued, “I’m a war president. I make decisions here in the Oval Office in foreign policy matters with war on my mind.”

With the rise of streaming video, audiences for traditional news programming are dwindling. In the past few years, the number of Americans who watched cable TV fell from 76 percent to 56 percent. As a result, Fox News Channel is losing about $20 a year in subscription fees. Streaming news, meanwhile, is now available to 85 percent of households.
With the rise of streaming video, networks can easily archive news and deliver it to viewers on the go. It is also cost-effective and makes video news ubiquitous. This makes it easier than ever to access high-quality news on the go. Streaming is especially useful when you are traveling and want to watch live events.
Other major news networks have jumped into the streaming game. ABC, CBS, and Fox, all of which operate multiple cable news channels, have launched their own streaming services. In a bid to attract new viewers, the networks are spending hundreds of millions of dollars to create streaming platforms. Fox, for example, has attracted 1.5 million subscribers to its Fox Nation streaming service. NBC News Now boasts 31 million hours of content every month.
Another notable event is the Homecoming festivities of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. There were festivities for the university’s newest students and alumni, as well as a celebration for the university’s 9-year streak of winning the prestigious INSIGHT Into Diversity’s Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award.
