You’ve probably heard of the NBC News channel or the ABC News, but do you really know what it has to offer? These are just a few of the topics the network covers. If you’re interested in current events and breaking stories, then you should probably tune into NPR. It covers national and world news as well as business, science, and technology news. And don’t forget to check out their daily newscasts, too.

It may seem hard to believe, but the major news networks have high hopes for streaming. According to Wendy McMahon, co-president of CBS News, the streaming service has attracted 1.5 million subscribers and ad revenue of more than $1 billion. In addition to CNN, local stations have begun marathon streaming of breaking news, as the Grammys coverage would have interrupted local Sacramento coverage. Similarly, NBC News Now claims to serve up 31 million hours of content each month.

But that doesn’t mean that streaming will never catch up with cable. It may even follow the precedent set by cable. But if people are unhappy with the way the news is presented, they’ll likely choose another medium to get their information. That way, they can choose the news that suits their needs. And if they’re not satisfied, they can opt out of the news altogether. The downside of streaming, however, is that it can become very expensive.
