To find these publications, simply use the library’s search tool. Listed below are some of these publications. This guide is intended to help you find the information you need in a timely manner.

There are three main models of current news. The first, the Mirror Model, states that the news should be an accurate reflection of reality. The second model, the Organizational Model, focuses on applying pressure to governmental processes. The third model, the Political Model, suggests that news should reflect people’s ideological biases and other political pressures.

In modern times, news channels are a very popular way to keep people informed about what’s happening around the world. Many of these channels focus on national and international affairs, while others specialize in celebrities, sports, and regional issues. While all news channels have their own unique style, there are common themes among most news.

The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Division of Student Affairs organized a special event for students on Sept. 24. The event featured a taco lunch, wellness bags containing health essentials, and a Dairy Queen Blizzard. Mayor David Goins was on hand to present the Blizzards. The event also highlighted the campus’s achievements, including new enrollment records and an increase in international students.
