North Carolina students send their Eagles super fan teacher to the Super Bowl

Current News is an American television channel that specializes in breaking news. It airs at various times throughout the day.

Breaking news is a form of live coverage of an event that warrants interruption of existing programming in order to report on its details. It is also known as a special report, special coverage or news flash.

The coverage usually lasts only a few minutes or for hours, or may continue for days at a time, depending on the severity of the event being covered. In some cases, such as the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963, the coverage lasted for days, a practice that is still common at 24-hour news channels.

Coverage of a breaking news event on broadcast television typically begins with an opening graphic that conveys the importance of the story, followed by a voiceover from a news anchor. Lower thirds and other graphics may also be altered to convey a sense of urgency. The program may also be interrupted by an internal alert service, which disseminates information to all affiliate stations. The station will then pause for a few seconds to reset coverage, during which time an opening graphic may be rolled again. The news anchor will then introduce the story and begin reporting on it. The broadcast will usually end with a promotional message directing viewers to the network’s website or another news outlet for more information on the story.
