Breaking news is a term often used in the media to describe the most important story of the day, usually a live event. The term is also used to describe a story that is of great interest to a large number of viewers, such as a natural disaster or a terrorism attack. Breaking news is a redundant term since it can refer to any news story. Occasionally, breaking news is substituted for “just in,” which is a term that is used when there is no breaking news.

In addition, you can catch up on the latest news in your local community.
