Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s commencement exercises continued on Saturday, as the university honored its latest cohort of students. The university’s provost, Denise Cobb, led the ceremonies to award degrees to those who earned their degrees. Josie Pauley, a recent CAS graduate and recipient of the school’s Distinguished Graduate Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Humanities and Social Sciences, addressed graduates and encouraged them to “live in the moment.”
