Trending is a news segment that covers the most popular stories on Current News. The segment often features a mix of videos and text that highlights some of the most popular topics on the site. Occasionally, the segment may also cover some lesser-known stories that are popular with readers. Depending on the topic, the story may be followed by an analysis or editorial about it. When a breaking news story occurs, the station will interrupt its non-news programming and announce that a special report or Newsflash is coming up.
