The major streaming networks schedule nightly news programs and offer documentaries and news analysis. Many of them are also repurposing content from cable and broadcast TV. This makes it easy to watch the latest news on the go.
While radio and newspapers have their place, the new technology has changed the way we get our news. Today, you can easily access millions of articles from top news sources and even radio and television transcripts. You can even get daily updates on popular news sites. The best part is that you can access cover-to-cover full text of major newspapers, hundreds of regional newspapers, and AP Online (Associated Press).
There are several notable events happening around the country today. For example, the School of Engineering at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The celebration will be held during the university’s Homecoming festivities Sept. 21-24. The event will feature a reception for alumni and faculty members. In addition, the School of Nursing at SIUE has long been committed to diversity and inclusion. In fact, the school has been recruiting minority students for 35 years through its pathway programs.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Educational Leadership program has selected 10 students for the Illinois School Leadership Pipeline Program (ISLPP).
