Current news at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is anything but dull. A flurry of activities and events has kicked off the new semester, and a number of alumni and friends have already arrived on campus.
Chancellor James T. Minor has hosted a number of high-brow soirees, and the school is planning a homecoming ceremony to get students and faculty excited about the start of the 2022 semester. Those who aren’t in the vicinity can take a virtual trip through SIUE’s quaint downtown. The university also is a partner in the statewide Inclusive Excellence, Education and Development Hub, which is a nifty-looking website containing a lot of good ideas.
The SIUE School of Engineering and the Enterprise Holdings Foundation joined forces to unveil a new atrium in the Engineering Building. To cap it all off, the School of Engineering received a $1.5 million gift from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation.
Several other events and activities have already transpired, including the unveiling of the aforementioned aforementioned atrium and the unveiling of the aforementioned eponymous award. This list isn’t exhaustive, but it’s a good start.
The most prestigious award in the list of awards is the aforementioned aforementioned aforementioned award. The list of other nominees isn’t a small one either. In addition, the School of Education has received a nifty-looking trophy from the State of Illinois.
The University of Illinois based school recently announced its selection of 10 students to participate in its inaugural Illinois School Leadership Pipeline Program (ISLPP). According to the press release, these young professionals will have the opportunity to “make a difference in their communities and to be a part of a network of educators with expertise in all facets of educational leadership.”
Other events that have taken place include the unveiling of the aforementioned foxy sexiest tee in the aforementioned atrium, the aforementioned aforementioned aforementioned aforementioned awards and the aforementioned aforementioned aforementioned.
