The American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) has announced a set of guidelines for EM residency programs. The guidelines include information on what to expect in the next two years. Additionally, AAEM has issued a letter of support to the American Board of Medical Specialties to address the need for additional training and oversight for emergency medicine residency applicants.

One of the most notable events of 2022 was the death of Jerry Lee Lewis. Another was the death of Queen Elizabeth II. There were other noteworthy events such as the election of Barack Obama, the release of Kokanee fry from Lake Sammamish State Park, and the death of Emily Allen in an automobile accident.

Although there were many great events that occurred in 2022, only 44 percent of adults believe it was a great year for news. The good news is that most people have at least one memorable event in their lifetime.

The most common sources of news information are television broadcasts, newspapers, magazines, and digital magazines. Most people have at least one conversation about a memorable event in a typical month.

An effective way to communicate with elected officials is to host a ceremonial opening. Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is kicking off its 2022 Homecoming festivities with a series of events.
