Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s commencement exercises will continue on Saturday, May 6, and 7. The university will honor 2,356 eligible graduates in its College of Arts and Sciences and School of Engineering. A speech by Josie Pauley, who received a bachelor’s degree in applied communication studies from the CAS, will be given to CAS graduates. She will receive a $100 honorarium and an honorary plaque. The event marks the 20th anniversary of the institution’s White Coat Ceremony.
