The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville continues its commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 6. The university will celebrate more than 2,356 graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering. During the ceremony, CAS student Josie Pauley, who received her bachelor’s degree in applied communication studies, encouraged her fellow graduates to enjoy life and make the most of every moment. After delivering her welcome remarks, Chancellor James T. Minor will hand out honorary degrees to those who have distinguished themselves with academic achievements.
