Melanie Shahay has been battling a benign brain tumor for twenty years. Four years ago she started radiation treatment which caused her to lose all her hair. Her son, Matt, saw the physical and emotional toll it was taking on her so he found a way to make some of that better. Son Gives Life-Changing Gift To Mother Battling Benign Brain Tumor
If you’re interested in current events, you can listen to the news on the radio. Current News is often categorized by subject and includes national and world events, business, science and technology. In addition, NPR covers breaking stories and major world events. It is also a good choice if you don’t have the time to read the newspaper or subscribe to the cable news channel. This list of radio programs is extensive and covers all aspects of life in the U.S.
The broadcast news business is a highly profitable one. Cable networks such as CNN, Fox, and MSNBC earned a combined $3 billion in profits last year. These companies are trying to take a share of that revenue. Free news streaming services have copied the style and approach of cable news. NBC News, for example, is advertising that viewers can cut their cable subscription and get the same quality of news for free. The company says that this advertising strategy is working.
CNN and other major news networks are betting on streaming to keep viewers satisfied. While CNN+ has been a failure, other major broadcast networks are also confident about the future of the streaming business. In fact, CBS News, ABC, and Fox have all invested hundreds of millions of dollars into streaming operations. Fox has attracted 1.5 million subscribers for its streaming app. NBC News Now, on the other hand, is producing ten hours of programming a day and boasts of 31 million video views per month.
