The creator of a controversial “suicide pod” has revealed a new model which would allow two people to use it at the same time, with an AI-powered feature to do the psychological evaluation of the user. The Sarco Pod creator said the company thinks “a piece of software” could evaluate the patients better than a psychiatrist. NBC News’ Liz Kreutz reports on the controversial technology.
