The IRIS Center recently hosted the Fall Digital Humanities Student Showcase. This event celebrated students’ use of digital tools to create innovative projects. The showcase also celebrated the work of five college and university educators who used nostalgia to educate.
As part of its celebration of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Southern Illinois University Edwardsville will hold a Celebration Luncheon on January 4, 2019. A keynote speaker and musical performance will be included in the event. SIUE invites the community to join them for this event.
The Educational Leadership program has selected 10 students to participate in the Illinois School Leadership Pipeline Program, or ISLPP. These aspiring principals come from a variety of school districts and will take courses that will help them advance in their careers.
SIUE is also kicking off its 2022 Homecoming festivities. The school will host a variety of events, including an in-person ceremony and a virtual event. All are free. For more information, visit the website.
