Southern Illinois University Edwardsville continued commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 6. The school’s seven commencement ceremonies will honor 2,356 eligible students. Several awards, including honorary degrees, are presented on Honors Day. The recipient of this award will receive $100 and an honorary plaque. The event is the largest single gathering of outstanding students in nearly two dozen departments. Chancellor James T. Minor, who will be in attendance, led the ceremony.
