The California Department of Education has a new way for its readers to keep up with the latest information. The agency’s Communications Division will now offer News from Science, which is a monthly publication. These news releases are sent to reporters, who write about them through their local news outlets. Current subscribers will not be affected by the April 30, 2021 change. After six months, they will automatically be switched to the new monthly rate of $2.99 per month or they can upgrade to an annual $25 subscription.

The American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) has also partnered with the American Medical Association to form the Pain and Procedural Committee. Both organizations will be able to help EM practitioners in their practices, and AAEM is pleased to play a role in these efforts. Hopefully, this will lead to even more progress in emergency medicine.
