About

Trending is a feature in Current News that talks about the latest news in the world. The trending stories are chosen from the news articles that are viewed most often on our website. The articles can be anything from celebrity gossip to political happenings. When a story is trending, it means that people are searching for information about it more than usual. Trending stories are usually featured on our homepage and social media pages. A breaking news alert is an announcement by television and radio stations that interrupts non-news programming, or in some cases regular network newscasts, to cover a current event. Such interruptions are most common in the United States when national or international news occurs that warrants immediate coverage such as the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
