Actor and playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda spoke with NBC News’ Gabe Gutierrez on advocating for Puerto Rico after Hurricane Fiona and as the island marks the five-year anniversary of Hurricane Maria. The U.S. territory still finds itself fighting for help with its recovery.

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) recently celebrated its 2022 Alumni Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The event, held in the Morris University Center Meridian Ballroom, recognized 10 graduates who have gone above and beyond in their fields and have embodied the values of SIUE.
