You can also look for news stories in your own area by using Google Trends, which analyzes the most popular search queries in different regions and languages. Freedly is another news-aggregation service, which allows you to build your own news feed based on your interests. Other news services, such as News360, aggregate content from popular websites and curate it in real-time.
Online news sites provide fast, objective news. These sites are independent, and their content is usually objective and free of political bias. While they may not be as unbiased as a newspaper, they provide timely, comprehensive, and often accurate news. They rely on the products of news agencies, as well as journalistic craft.
