Streaming news has made video news ubiquitious. It has also proven to attract mass audiences. As a result, it is reshaping the way political news is covered.

The world’s major news services are followed by millions of people around the world. This is because the news is objective, comprehensive, and usually unbiased. Streaming allows viewers to tailor their experience to meet their individual needs.

In the US, 85 percent of households subscribe to at least one streaming service. The major news networks have invested hundreds of millions of dollars in streaming operations.

In addition to live programming, the major streaming networks offer documentaries and reruns. They also schedule regular nightly news programs. Streaming news has also been a boon for niche audiences. For instance, a commercial-averse viewer may not want to pay for TV news. They may opt to switch channels, or even cut their cable subscription.

For the past decade, the major streaming networks have capitalized on this audience. They have developed a series of documentaries and news analysis programs. They have also launched new channels. Some of these channels are now competing with cable networks for the news audience.

For instance, Fox has launched its Fox Nation streaming app, which has attracted 1.5 million subscribers. It has also produced a series of shows twice as long as a typical nightly news program.

It’s also possible that the new news streamers will encourage viewers to cut their cable subscription. They are doing this by essentially telling viewers that they can cut their cable subscription and enjoy cable-quality news without having to pay for it.
