President Trump awards Team USA men’s hockey goalie Connor Hellebuyck the Presidential Medal of Freedom during his State of the Union address. In December, President Trump also awarded the Medal of Freedom to the “Miracle on Ice” 1980 gold medal Olympic hockey team.
