Trump says ‘I’d pay’ anti-weaponization fund applicants ‘the kind of money they deserve’

In an exclusive interview with Meet the Press, President Trump says “the weaponization fund is a great idea” and if Republicans “don’t get it approved, I’d be disappointed.” Asked whether anyone who attacked police officers on January 6 should get taxpayer money, Trump says, “I wouldn’t be inclined to say so, but I have to see it.”
