The AAEM has announced new regional chapters in Maryland and Virginia, and has teamed up with the American Medical Association and American Board of Emergency Medicine to form an EM Pain and Procedural Committee. It also announced that its members will be able to participate in a nationwide poll on emergency medicine pain. The survey will be conducted by a panel of physicians, allowing them to voice their opinions on current EM practice.
