You can even learn about the latest happenings in your community by taking a quiz. One of the best ways to do this is to keep up with your local news by using a service such as NewsBreak. The app allows you to follow your favorite topics and even share your opinions.
In 2022, some of the biggest stories included the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Loretta Lynn, and Jerry Lee Lewis. While most of us can’t believe some of the stories in the media, nearly half of adults say that there will be more positive news in 2023.
SIUE’s Educational Leadership program has selected 10 students for the Illinois School Leadership Pipeline Program. This program is designed to encourage young people to take a leadership role in their communities.
