After a dangerous few hours in which Israel and Iran traded waves of attacks, Israel has agreed, under U.S. pressure, to halt strikes against Iran.

Iran has also announced that its military operation against Israel is over but has warned of a more “severe” response if hostilities were to continue.

ABC News’ Tom Soufi Burridge has the latest from Jerusalem on the first exchanges between Israel and Iran since a ceasefire was announced on April 8.
