Southern Illinois University Edwardsville will continue its commencement exercises May 6-7. The ceremony will honor more than 2,000 eligible graduates from the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering. Provost Denise Cobb, who will lead the commencement ceremony, presented certificates to graduates. CAS graduate Josie Pauley, who earned a bachelor’s degree in applied communication studies, spoke to graduates at the ceremony. She encouraged them to enjoy the moment and live in the present.
