Current News has always been an important part of our daily lives. However, it’s not all glamor and glory. In fact, a significant number of people do not believe what they hear in the news. Here’s a list of the most memorable news stories of the past few years.
This is not the only important news story that took place in 2022. It was also the year in which the American College Personnel Association recognized the dedication and commitment of higher education institutions.
The organization awarded a Higher Education Excellence in Diversity Award to colleges and universities nationwide. This award is a way to recognize the efforts of the United States’ colleges and universities to increase diversity in their student body.
Despite a string of unfortunate deaths, there were some big moments in 2022. For instance, a number of aspiring principals from small districts and large ones alike were named. Similarly, the death of Loretta Lynn, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Queen Elizabeth II were all very notable.
Other noteworthy events of the year include the death of Emily Allen, a young woman killed in an automobile accident. Another big moment occurred when the City of Sammamish proclaimed January 16, 2023 as a national day of service in the city.
Additionally, the Sammamish City Council announced that it would begin negotiating with candidate Scott Ma to fill a vacant seat on the council. They also approved a budget for the next two years.
