Streaming news delivers timely news and is essentially free. Major streaming networks have been around for a decade. They have invested hundreds of millions of dollars in streaming operations. They also schedule regular nightly news programs. They also offer documentaries and reruns. The major networks hope that streaming will help them keep up with the competition.
