The current state of play in higher education enrollment marketing is segmenting and targeting. However, it is not just students that are paying attention to these efforts. There are also a slew of publications and websites dedicated to the subject. These include POLITICO, Inside U.S. Trade, SciTechDaily, and PR Newswire, to name a few.
As the aforementioned headline suggests, there is a lot of competition in the slickest looking and sounding student-oriented promotional material. For that reason, it makes sense that the media company in charge of distributing it is in turn producing the best of the best. To that end, SIUE is preparing to kick off 2022 Homecoming on the right foot, which will include a variety of special events, in-person and virtual.
At its core, the SIUE campus is a community. In honor of this sentiment, the Learning Resource Center has a giveaway to woo prospective students: free diapers. Additionally, the university recently unveiled a fancy new collection of historical research. Among other things, it is home to a hulking atrium courtesy of a generous donation from Enterprise Holdings Foundation.
The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) campus was abuzz with alumni and friends of the university. The occasion was capped off by a late-night breakfast for students. It was a nice way to end the evening, especially since SIUE Chancellor James T. Minor had just wrapped up his ceremonial tour of the campus.
