As streaming services increase their reach, broadcast news is losing audience share. In 2016, 76 percent of American households watched cable TV, but that percentage is slated to fall to 56 percent by 2021. That means that cable news networks are losing $20 per year per subscriber. Meanwhile, 85 percent of households have a streaming service and are likely to continue to do so.
A basic digital access subscription costs $4 every four weeks for the first year, then $17 every four weeks after that. The City of Sammamish is currently soliciting bids for the maintenance of its stormwater system. The selected vendor will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the stormwater infrastructure. The City is also encouraging minority and women-owned businesses to submit bids. The city has also recently unveiled the Progress Pride Flag Mosaic, a mosaic designed by Cheryl Smith. It was unveiled at Sammamish City Hall with the help of City Council and Sound Transit.
