Tourists Are Ruining Yellowstone

Just a year ago, a climate assessment report several years in the making was released, warning that the future of Yellowstone was threatened by climate change. The move to a warmer, drier climate would threaten Yellowstone’s wildlife and lead to more extreme weather events, the report said. Then, this June, a “one-in-a-thousand-years” flood shut down the park at the beginning of its peak tourist season. So how is Yellowstone preparing for the future of climate change, as it’s seriously beginning to feel its effects? The CASE Office of Student Life and Engagement has appointed Mindy Kinnaman as the new assistant director of Student Conduct. Mindy is an experienced higher education professional with more than 20 years of experience. Before coming to CASE, she was director of Student Life at Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colo. She oversaw the department’s day-to-day operations. Aside from teaching and managing the department’s programs, she is also an accomplished racer. In May, she competed in the Baja SAE (r) event hosted by Tennessee Tech University.

Some databases include articles and news publications from different countries and regions. Using the Bentley library’s current news guide can be helpful in finding the current news you’re looking for.

SIUE’s Cougars Unleashed Homecoming Run celebrated its alumni and friends Sept. 21-25. SIUE alum Laila Landreth, a business administration graduate from Copenhagen, Denmark, participated in the race virtually for the last two years. The event also marked the beginning of SIU Edwardsville’s 2022 Homecoming.
